As part of Ohio’s Responsible RestartOhio initiative, Governor DeWine recently announced that non-contact or low-contact sports throughout the state will be permitted to resume on May 26, with some restrictions remaining in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.
As of today, May 26, 2020, Canal Winchester’s skate park will re-open for public use.
Skaters and spectators are reminded to follow posted social distancing requirements and to avoid physical contact with others.
Although the skate park and other non-contact sports have been permitted to resume, high-contact sports, playgrounds, and basketball courts currently remain closed.
