[ARCHIVED] Elected Officials to Serve Dinner at Kris Sims Memorial Relay For Life Fundraiser May 15

Get acquainted with Canal Winchester’s elected officials once again as they wait tables to earn tips for Relay for Life. On Wednesday, May 15, Mayor Mike Ebert and City Council members will serve dinner at the Frances Steube Community Center, located at 22 S. Trine St. in Canal Winchester.  The three-course meal will include a house salad and bread, spaghetti and meatballs, iced tea, lemonade, coffee and a dessert.  The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child (10 and under).  Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event while supplies last.

Occasion:         Charity Fundraiser for the City’s Relay for Life team, The Village People 4 A Cure

Date:                Wednesday May 15, 2019

Time:               6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.                                                                                  

Location:         Frances Steube Community Center

                        22 S. Trine St.

                        Canal Winchester, OH 43110

The dinner is named in honor of the late Kristen Sims, who worked to bring Relay for Life to Canal Winchester.  All tips and dinner proceeds will benefit Relay for Life, American Cancer Society.  Donations are tax deductible and receipts will be available upon request.

Cash, check, or credit cards will be accepted at the fundraiser and parties will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle and tickets will be sold for items to be awarded at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event on Saturday, June 22 from 4:00 p.m. to midnight at the Canal Winchester High School.
