Canal Winchester’s 2017 Music & Art in the Park summer concert series will kick off Friday, May 19th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition to live entertainment, art demonstrations, Touch-a-Truck, and other activities at Stradley Park (36 S. High St.), guests are invited to visit the newly remodeled Interurban Depot (located adjacent to Stradley Park), which will host a public Open House throughout the evening.
May’s event will highlight a tribute to first responders with entertainment by Danny & The Linders, a classic rock band featuring several former members of the Columbus Police Department’s Anti-Drug rock band “Hot Pursuit”.
The remaining Music & Art in the Park events will be held on June 16th and July 21st. The June event will feature a tribute to farmers and entertainment by 3 Cat Day. The series will conclude in July with live music from the Gas Pump Jockeys and the 10th annual Cruise-In, sponsored by C-Town Cruisers.
Attendees are encouraged to bring portable chairs or blankets due to limited seating. Picnics are welcome.
