[ARCHIVED] Lions Club to bring CIRCUS to Canal Winchester May 11!

On Wednesday, May 11 the Canal Winchester Lions Club will bring the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus to downtown Canal Winchester. The circus big-top will be located on the field behind 122 Washington Street, with parking available at adjacent Canal Winchester High School, located at 300 Washington Street. On the morning of the event, the public is welcome to attend a free tent-raising and tour of circus grounds at 9:30 a.m. Shows will begin at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. rain or shine. Enjoy big animal acts, jugglers, acrobats, clowns ...everything under the Big Top! Each 90-minute circus show will feature performers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Discount tickets are available now at www.canalwinchesterlions.org. Discount prices are $10 for adults, $7 for kids (2-12) and seniors 65+. Regular admission tickets will be available on the day of the circus at $13 for adults, $8 for kids (2-12) and seniors 65+. Tickets may be used at either show.

All proceeds from tickets sales will benefit the Columbus Pilot Dog Program, services for the visually impaired, pre-K vision screenings, the local Boy Scouts, the Canal Winchester Community Food Pantry, local school programs, and other Lions community service projects.

Lions Clubs International is a world-wide service organization with clubs in over 200 countries. The Canal Winchester Lions Club was established in 1939.
