  • All City buildings remain closed to the public.
  • Senior Citizens programming at the Frances Steube Community Center has been cancelled until further notice.

  • Parks, trails, and playgrounds are open.
  • Local restaurants have re-opened.  Please check with each restaurant regarding their operating procedures as they may differ.
  • As of February 8, the CW branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library has reopened for limited services.  Curbside pick up is still available.  Visit their website for more details.


To avoid impacts to our operations, we have developed work groups for our employees.  Such efforts are made to mitigate any possible adverse impacts to operations in the event that cases of COVID-19 are reported locally.

In compliance with recommendations from federal and state leaders, as well as public health agencies, we have closed our buildings to the public. THIS CLOSURE WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

City Council meetings continue, however, there are restrictions to public gatherings.  If you have a comment regarding a piece of legislation, please utilize the comment form on the City’s website.  More info

Planning and Zoning Commission meetings continue, however, they have moved to the Community Center.

**Convenience fees will not be charged for online payments. If you have already paid this billing cycle and were charged a fee, your utility bill will be credited.  We're working with our processing company to make this update.  Thank you for your patience.

- Use the 24-hour drop box located in the entry of the Municipal building (36 S. High St.) or use the entry phone during business hours to contact the utility clerk.
