The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society "brings history to life” in downtown Canal Winchester on October 11th and 12th.
The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society "brings history to life” in downtown Canal Winchester on October 11th and 12th. The society, a non-profit historical education organization, will present their thirteenth Annual Historic Ghost Tour exploring six historic locations throughout downtown Canal Winchester. Event-goers will be guided through a walking tour as they are entertained by actors portraying people from Canal Winchester’s past.
Tours lasting approximately 90 minutes will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night, with the last tour departing at 7:30 p.m. All tours will depart from the Frances Steube Community Center (22 S. Trine St). Tickets may be purchased at the Community Center each evening of the tour beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are offered at $10 per adult and $5 per student aged 6-18; children 5 and under will be free. Proceeds help to support the Canal Winchester Area Historical Society's core programs and preservation projects. For more information, visit cwhistory.org.
