The City of Canal Winchester Human Resources (HR) Department is an administrative division of the Finance Department. The purpose of HR is to manage our employee’s needs and the environment in which they work. We provide many services that help promote the effective and efficient management of the City’s employees. Some of our responsibilities include recruitment and selection efforts, maintaining positive employee relations, training and general personnel administration. We also work with the City’s Personnel Board of Review, which oversees the City’s civil service system. Finally, our goal is to serve as a strategic partner in helping the City’s workforce meets the challenges and responsibilities of public service to our residents.
